AK 1000 / 1001 Extrusion Gun. The AK 1000 (robot) and 1001 (hand operated) extrusion guns have been designed to dispense adhesives and sealants with a perfectly clean cut off at the tip. Compact
and competitively priced, both models have been designed to meet the tough
application demands of today's manufacturing environment. Either model ensures an
accurately controlled supply of sealants, metal to metal adhesives etc,
with perfect bead uniformity. Control is via a double air activated
cylinder, giving fast response time with the 1000 model linking directly
to robot outputs. The fluid inlet port is situated close to the needle packing gland, to eliminate large cavity areas, where sealants or adhesives may congeal if a leak was to occur. A slot in the body of the gun allows inspection for any leakage passing the needle packing gland and of course, adjustment of same, without disassembling the gun or even the removal from its location. Both
the AK 1000 and 1001 have undergone extensive field tests and require
minimal maintenance. Each gun is tested to 10,000 psi before
despatch to the client and comes complete with a comprehensive instruction
manual.
